Cal Quantrill is 2-0 with an ERA of 0.56 and 10 strikeouts in 5 appearances versus the Cardinals in his career.

According to Gamecast, the Marlins P is leaving a lot of pitches in the middle of the strike zone, Cards are just not squaring up on them.

What a god awful lineup. No worries about watching a playoff game involving the Cards for quite a while. Maybe the pitching will…..well forget that.

This game is the perfect example of what we can expect going forward. We have two hits without squaring up anything. We have one pitching mistake that has determined the lead to this point. I guess it is better watching this game than watching paint dry but not much better.
