Correa is much preferred..
He’s younger, better, and indicated he will waive his NTC..
But….the question is how much cash Minnesota will toss in….
Not sure I would say he’s better. Correa has a 0.1 bWAR/1.1 fWAR. Arenado has a 1.1 bWAR/0.8 fWAR.
And Correa is owed a lot more $$$ than Arenado is.
I would stay away from both personally. A team would have to be pretty desperate to be dealing for either of them.
Solid observations…
I’m not enthusiastic about either one…
Correa has always been a walking Disabled List……a few more years of that is not good..
And two years of arenado??? No thanks

Well, they did trade for him last offseason, so it makes sense that they would want to do it again if they're still in need at that position. And since they agreed to the trade both teams know what it would take to get it done.
I guess maybe there's a chance there could be a few other teams involved, so maybe the Cardinals might be trying to squeeze some more out of it, but who knows. And of course there is also the fact that Arenado already vetoed the trade once, although that is looking like a mistake on his part, if playing for a contender is his true goal.
It's a shame that it's come to this, but really hoping some team gets desperate and Nolan is willing to accept the trade.

Hou is the trade that Nado actively nixed. Also he doesn't want to move midseason. This isn't happening even if Hou wants him.
Disagree. Nado is willing to go to anyone in contention at this point. And he realizes Cardinals will not be contending for the remainder of his contract.
NA had to get a reality check this off season.
IF the man is sincere about his career ambitions, he really can't postpone this IF offered again.
Especially if his season ends with a OPS under .700
IF Houston wants him he's cheaper now. 2/3 paid for 2025
plus his production.
