He should
No different than any player.

But Winn is a 3+ fWAR player the last 2 years. Those don’t grow on trees. And he’s only 23 years old.
JJ is 23 years old. Played college, top draft pick. Lighting up AAA and has power
I know who JJ is. He’ll be our starting 2B. And I’m looking forward to the WW combination of Winn and Wetherholt up the middle.
Waste at 2b. Winn should be moved, along with Hurdy Gurdy
Why the heck is he a waste at 2B? If anything 2B is less of an offensive position than SS and Wetherholt isn’t a good defensive SS (he’s average), while I’m sure he’d be better at 2B. So you’d have a guy that would be one of the best 2B in the game and a SS that would be one of the best defensive SS in baseball.
You trade Winn before his knee and arm are done, and get a RH bat from the Athletics

Neither. I want JJ at SS, send Winn-mill to another team for a RH OF bat

That’s what a $75m roster looks like. 13 position players is all they will have and you have 14 without Aranado who I beleive will be here. So Segesse and Crooks to AAA. Still missing the 35/100 MOTO superstar to anchor the lineup and make it fall into place. .500 if they add a TOR SP from FA and that bat. Otherwise 70 wins
I was looking for a backup CF. That has to be Nootbar. Church would be the next man up. Otherwise stuck with a Hampson or Fermin clogging the roster. Saggese has a spot as util, unless Donovan is the backup SS too.

Yes. Need a MOTO bat, A FOTR starter, and Back of the bullpen shutdown relievers.

Maybe Zach Thompson recovers to be a LHRP option in 2026 But a lot of holes to fill that the system won't have answers for til 2027... at best.

MO likes to deal closer to the deadline. A lot of low hanging fruit just there for the taking, that everybody else passed on.

What a sad roster you laid out

Well they should pay me more to be the GM and I'll do a better job. I'll take half of Mo's salary.

But yes. This is what Bloom starts with. Let's see what he does.

Wetherholt will be backup SS. In a perfect world Arenado would be traded to add a RP. 2 birds with one stone. Then Helsley returns a SP. with Arenado gone Gorman to 3B and Segesse as backup. The logjam is OF. Scott in CF means LF/RF has Donovan Walker Nootbar Burleson. One of them needs traded. I just have no faith those moves get made to fix the bad roster construction.

The chain is why he's bad at stealing bases...slows him down and like a cat wearing a bell...gives away his move

If they have Gray and Arenado next year, that’s over 50 million in 2 players near end of career

The position player core should be

Wetherholt
Winn
Scott
Contreas
Herrera
Crooks
Donovan

Pitchers

Liberatore
McGreevey
Pallante
O’Brien

That’s it folks!

Players who have value and 3 of the 4 should be dealt to get pitching pitching and more pitching

Burleson
Gorman
Nootbaar
Walker

I assume Helsley, Matz, Maton and Romero are gone via trade

That's your outfield? That's a bad defense for a softball team.
