It would be interesting to get a picture of the stadium from Mo's first day on the job (hired on 10/3/2007, so it would be opening day 2008) versus what it will look like 9/28.
I'm pretty sure it's a stark difference.
In the middle of a heat wave? Duh.

There
No way 20,000.............more like 15,000 if that.
20,510 tickets sold means there were less attendees at the game. This has a negative effect on concessions and sale of Cardinals merchandise.

2007 was a losing season and I bet the average attendance was double that of 2025. lol
It's a chitshow to be sure.

No doubt...I share season tickets in Section 148.and there has been a steady drop in attendance in the last few years...but this year it has been obvious that fans are (upset) at Mo-ran's incompetence...fans will show up for an exciting team, with stars, regardless of the weather.

Heat waves don’t keep people away when the team is worth watching.

Really? Is that a fact? You don’t think a heat index of 108 has anything to do with it?

Not making excuses because the product sucks. But who in their right mind is going to a game in this Saudi Arabian heat? Add in Monday night,Marlins and the previously mentioned suck and I’m surprised there were 57 people there.
I was at a game at Busch 3 about 15 years ago when the temperature was 100*. Brutal.
35,000 people thought so, too.
Capiche?

Second-lowest non-COVID crowd in Busch III history.
Bill, Bill, Mo… at least you saved some money, eh?
I went to a concert last night in Portland with a Cards hat. The beer man saw that and he was talking to his other beer man about seeing the crowd in St. Lou and he couldn’t believe he was watching a Cardinal game, the the fan base is pisssed. I chimed in of course and said something about the GM. He mentioned Mo by name. Surprised he would know so much, but of course I totally agreed with him. Pretty funny, if not sad.

Of course it's been hot. And it hurt attendance. It's unhealthy, especially for older people, to sit in that heat.

There

As you well know , the number announced is always PAID attendance . Some no shows come from fans who purchased their tix earlier this season and aren't thrilled with the play so they 'ate' the ticket , some are vacationers who come to St.Louis and planned to go to a Cardinal game during their stay ( with 108 index type stuff they said No Way I will stay in AC somewhere for my entertainment ) . Sitting outdoors in sweltering heat isn't everybody's cup of tea especially 100+ stuff. This isn't normal St. Louis July weather.

I congratulate those that stayed away on their wisdom.
Yet we still outdraw your Astros on the road. In fact everybody does.

In Saudi Arabia it's a dry heat, not like the St. Louis swelter box.
I hear ya. Now go make a tee time in Vegas or Dubai this time of year about noon and see how that goes

Announced paid has been that way forever.
St. Louis is always miserable in July/August and before last year there would be 35-40,000 there.
