Both points are good news
And a hearty congratulations to the Cardinals for finally beginning to understand that which I have correctly analyzed for the past 3 years: Herrera needs to be an outfielder.

you're such a (censored)
Where's Gorman?
I guarantee you The Narcissist/Fraud didn’t say anything about Ivan in the OF until it was brought up earlier this year.
He also said keeping fedde in the off season was easy obvious correct because he could help them win and be traded for more at the deadline than he could have been in the offseason another big swing and miss by mel
That was a bit of a miss, yes?
We will also see if he was right about Mo will keep helsley and offer him a QO instead of trading him at the deadline
Hels bells has to be traded. It's the smart thing to do

Yeah, I wanted to see Herrera in LF till his recent leg injuries, now I hope he doesn't get slowed down by this
Yup, feels kinda irresponsible to just throw him out there like this. Hopefully he doesn't get injured really quickly.
Unless he has OF experience I'm unaware of, no serious organization would make this move in the middle of the season.
No Serious Organization

From Jeff Jones:
Herrera, grinning ear to ear, said the last time he played OF, he was 14, but he feels comfortable and confident out there. Has been doing daily work since coming off the IL. Hasn’t ever played OF under lights but he did say he generally sees the ball better at night.

There’s the answer, “no serious organization”.

I've been advocating for Herrera to learn LF but that was for an offseason project... Let's hope he's been doing some work behind the scenes, and let's hope he doesn't hurt himself out there.
That is what happened to Kolten Wong. Not a successful transition.

Reminds me of how they did Matt Adams. Here you go, get out there!

Meanwhile, his idol, Pedro Pages, has 0.0 fWAR and a sub .600 OPS. And his catcher ERA has gone skyward.

Pages looks like he is wearing down. I'm hoping we get a look at one of our catching prospects this September.
