Arenadonif he plays his last 2 yeats here, will likely have soent more years being slightly above average to below average vs 1 mvp finalist year and 2 other good years. No way he should in my opinion. If it wasnt for his monster 2022, he wouldnt even be considered

He has a tremendous 5 year run with COL and then 2 very good seasons in StL.

So an elite 7 year peak and 350 homers (10 gold gloves) should get him in the Hall eventually (not first ballot) and then maybe a red jacket some time after that.

What would really help him is if he went to another team and just managed to put up 2 decent seasons (.245, 21-22 homers and 80+ rbi). Rolen had shoulder problems with us and looked pretty bad at the end, and still went onto have a couple above average seasons.
