If Nado is traded as I expect he will have played here only 5 years compared to 8 like a Matt Holliday.. so it depends on voters who feel 5 years warrant RJ .

He will most likely go into Baseball Hall of Fame first
As 350 HR and 10 GG is only 7 players..


He may be considered for Red Jacket well after Cooperstownbut no slam dunk due to only 5 years as Cardinal.
IMO he is a Rockie ‘jacket’ deserving player. Doubt if they have them.

Should we wait to see which cap he chooses for his Cooperstown plaque? If it's Colorado, then no red jacket. If it's STL, then maybe.

He shouldn’t but he will because he’s going to the real HOF and they’ll want that tie in. He goes in a Rockie though. His tenure here has been miserable for both sides.

Arenadonif he plays his last 2 yeats here, will likely have soent more years being slightly above average to below average vs 1 mvp finalist year and 2 other good years. No way he should in my opinion. If it wasnt for his monster 2022, he wouldnt even be considered

He has a tremendous 5 year run with COL and then 2 very good seasons in StL.

So an elite 7 year peak and 350 homers (10 gold gloves) should get him in the Hall eventually (not first ballot) and then maybe a red jacket some time after that.

What would really help him is if he went to another team and just managed to put up 2 decent seasons (.245, 21-22 homers and 80+ rbi). Rolen had shoulder problems with us and looked pretty bad at the end, and still went onto have a couple above average seasons.
