There are ways to convey the message that he is done here.

Nobody wants to be somewhere where they aren't wanted.

The threat of the bench usually does that.

His no trade list would dramatically increase this offseason.
And no one will still want him. Good luck signing FAs if you treat them poorly
No other player or agent will give a darn about the Arenado situation

Get over that thought

They don’t sign any good ones anyway so who cares

Get over your fear based thought, you sound like Mo

Gorman needs to play every day along with Walker.
Need to get a read on them both heading to the offseason.
What do you think you’ll learn from either of those guys that you don’t already know? They are more of the same. We’ve seen it all before, multiple times. Are you ever thrilled when you see their name on the line up card? Maybe you just say ”oh hell no, more of this?”. It really is maddening to see so many get so many chances and then for us to have so little to show for it. They call up Walker and then send him down because he hits too many ground balls? They didn’t know that while he was in the minors?

Not about what I “learn” but about what the FO “learns” or decides.
Only so many roster spots. So who stays and who goes?
Always have my fingers crossed that they choose wisely.

So if you invoke your ntc you will become a bench piece for the rest of this season. Anyone think this might cause him to reconsider? Does anyone think DeWitt/Moronzelak have the brass to make such a move?
put him on waivers

He and Gray are terrible players to be around kids. They play for pay checks, not to win.

Both should of been telling stl to find them a team who can win it all, and get a deal done. But neither cares about winning, they are happy with the way its going and cashing those pay checks.

the DeWallet's pay NO ONE to not play --- one thing we have all learned is the contracts play.

Want lack of respect in the clubhouse?
Play him when there are at least 3 far superior options.

in the NFL you can just cut someone and stop paying them
Very often true!
Gosh - someone should tell NFL team that releasing a vet ruins the clubhouse......

John Mozeliak said Thursday that the club would prioritize playing time for Gorman and Thomas Saggese over the rest of the season

Heck NO to this kind of thinking. You talk as if the players run the show. They don't.

It's not about the player's feelings, it's about production.

Period.

Players not producing need to sit and earn their way back into the lineup no matter how popular they are among the team.
