NOT at ALL GF.
Mo is the POBO, this is his team.
It would be extremely poor business etiquette for Bloom to be giving interviews or voicing his opinions outside of the Cardinals front office.
His time comes after game 162 or the playoffs end.
I was in corporate America 30+ yrs before retiring……the successor to whatever leadership positions was usually given a public viewing and runway along with the old guard who he/she was replacing. They were on the same page, reading the same script but getting his voice and face out there. Unless someone just left out of the blue this was the transition process. Not announcing the replacement who already signed a contract and then never seeing the guy
Even when announced in advance no incoming CEO in corporate America steps on the current CEO's toes.
Big difference between selling a product/service (where there can be continuity at times even in an upper management change) and being in charge of a major league baseball roster and it's minor league system.

This isn't your run of the mill, mom and pop corporation with a CEO nobody's even heard of.
Bloom is already a known quantity and he's not currently in charge of the org. Him opining about anything right now would be at best dumb and pointless, and at worst egoistic and damaging to the org he's about to take over.
Are you really saying you would like for our next GM to be dumb, unprofessional and/or self-serving?

I suspect it is not his position to say anything. He is not the POBO. MO speaks for the club (and we all want to hurl).

I didn’t say go against the grain or narrative. I said he hasn’t been heard from. He could be saying the same thing Mo is…..

You turn on CNBC or Bloomberg every week and theres a public transition, hand off from old guard to new guy and that new guy increasingly is seen more and eventually is at the forefront until the day the old horse is retired…..this isn’t an oddity its the norm for a long transition like this

This trade deadline could set up his POBO tenure that starts in 2mths and haven’t even seen the guy???
When have you heard anything from him?
Is he under a gag order until Mo has cleaned out office??
Absolutely he is. Mo is the boss until the day he is officially relieved. Dewitt is not going to let them present any image of dysfunction or contempt. Moz will walk out the door and then you will hear from Bloom. it will be nothing but accolades and so honored to have been able to work along side Moz. He will walk off into the sunset a hero and they will not do anything to tarnish that. It does Bloom no good to even gripe about what he gets left with. Just make the best of it and Dewitt will support him.
MO is on the way out.
Bloom is on the way in.
It seems that they have divided up the responsibilities but are certainly working together.
Just a guess but Bloom seems to be focusing on the draft/farm system while MO is speaking on behalf of the daily team activities?
What do I care which one of them does the talking to the media??
My concern? What moves they do or don’t make not who reports it to the media!
I don't know what he's supposed to say. The players and coaches here obviously know him. He's been here a long time. Anything he'd say to them now would be between them and not said in public.

It's not his job. Have you not read anything that's been reported?
BDW said at the end of last season……major decisions would be done by committee…BDW, MO, Bloom
Well trade deadline is a major decision when impacts Bloom going forward NOT Mo
That doesn't mean Bloom should be taking interviews. He's doing exactly what he should and I'm positive that he has major say in the team decisions at this point.
