Very likely correct

Remember when Andres was a stud for the Expos....we traded for him and he struggled. We gave him away and he was an All Star for years in Colorado.
Gallaraga broke his leg in like his 3rd game here.

Arenado is not going to magically rediscover his power if he’s traded.

Astros are up in their division. I bet he would reconsider. I'm not sure who the Stros would offer though.

I think it was a wrist injury and he was slow recovering from it started heating up toward the end and they let him go but he’s not even close to the same thing

Miguel Ullola is getting some buzz as someone they might offer

Arenado would be better than Dubon…..but then there is next year….they could move Isacc to second I guess…..but that puts Altuve in left….and that’s not good…

And you know Crane….unless Stl sends a big check with him….its not going to happen

Maybe, I doubt it though

And if he did the Cards wouldn't get much unless BDWJr was willing to swallow a big hunk of his remaining contract.

OldRed wrote: 26 Jul 2025 08:07 am Gold glove third baseman Nolan Arenado has long been the subject of trade talk. Ever since he used his no-trade clause to squash a move to the Houston Astros in the offseason, the 34-year old slugger continues to be mentioned as a player that could be dealt.

I believe it should be quashed. But, I wonder if a trade happens?
I don’t know what you’re asking. Is it a trade should be quashed, what ever that is, or he should be traded.
I'm quoting a writer who used the word squash. These writers go to school and should know the meaning of squash compared to quashed. But again, I wonder if a trade gets done to move him.
You are a grown man who speaks English as a first, and likely only, language, but you used the phrase "escape goat" instead of "scapegoat" in this forum. Glass houses, man.
I used to raise escape goats but they’d always run off before I could sell any of them.
