5 innings of shut out ball. I guess he wasn't feeling near as much pressure as the eggsperts think...

Doubt he gets another start before the dead line
He gets a good start every now and then
Not enough of them

We are worse off without him barring a good replacement for the remainder of the year. Talk about DFA is stupid. Trading works if we get some value. Otherwise he just finishes the season and we throw him a farewell party.

You just won't give up on the idea that Mikolas is a good fit right now for this rotation. He's not because he has no future here. None. And he had 1 K tonight and several at 'em balls that were hit hard right at people. He was lucky enough to keep the ball in the ballpark this time. Good luck in the future. He needs it.

Of course he has no future here, but he isn’t Fedde. He shut down one of the best hitting teams in MLB. We don’t currently have a better option to finish the season. Those who think starting Graceffo the rest of the year are whistling past the graveyard. Mathews isn't ready and won’t be in ‘25. Folks need to quittheirbitching about Mikolas and let him finish up the season as long as we can expect a few good starts along the way.
