And I don’t have a problem with throwing Matz’ arm out by having him pitch a starter’s innings when he is currently conditioned for relief work. Graceffo, as I understand it, has been used primarily in relief this year. I’m not ready to throw him into starter innings right now. Are you?

Matz could be traded by next week. So you may not want to consider him for the rotation.

If the other options are Mikolas yes. Pallante gets a couple more attempts but he has no guaranteed spot next season

Graceffo? They seem to like him in relief. May not want to mess with him if he has setup/closer potential?
Always possible they pick up a veteran castoff to finish out the season?
