Is this a fair shot for the kid……screw around with him all season…..and then recall to take the mound in CO while your offense is still on All-star break
BUT baby Libby and keep the BP pitchers in the starting rotation. Why not pitch McGreevy in AZ and let Miles take the beating in CO??
He’s a pitcher in the majors. If he is going to be in the rotation full time he faces every team everywhere you don’t pick and choose. My guess is people complaining about it are the ones who complained he was in minors not majors my guess is the complaints are a set up so those same people can complain they started him in Colorado if he gets lit up and if he pitches well complain that he since he pitched well in Colorado he should have been up all season so complaints will be coming no matter what
This. Its not like he's facing the Dodgers lineup or the Cubs at Wrigley. There are a Lot more tougher assignments than the Rocks on the Road. I hope he does well, but I'm not convinced he will ever be a TOR SP. at least he won't be battling the weather. Looks like a beautiful day in DEN.

Slimy move from Mo.
Mo brings the kid up and has him start in the thin Colorado air where any mistake can fly out of Coors in some ego driven attempt to say, "See I was right all along not to bring him up" if the kid fails.
Mo is a scumbag.
That's a great theory.

The Broad Street Bullies are long gone. The Rockies are the worst offensive team in MLB.
I'd say Mozeliak is doing the kid a favor.
Go get'em Mack.
Yes
Rockies are 12-37 at home!!!
Pitching him in Arizona.....in a hitters park....against a much lineup would have been the better option???

I'd bet you that Mcgreevy disagrees with you. No way I want Miles pitching in Co.

The Cubs are 7% above league average at home; Rockies are 5% above league average at home. So, it pretty much is facing the Cubs at home.

That doesn't fit the MO is evil POV.

I think we should shave MO’s head and see if “666”
appears anywhere on his scalp??

That's probably the last thing on his mind.
He was probably more nervous on a first date.

You pitch where you play. There are no favors...it's his job

He’s not in the rotation Jablonski……..he pitches whenever they’ve called him up 2 or 3 times this season
He should’ve been in the rotation instead of the 33 and 36 yrold BP pitchers going 1-10, but he wasn’t and if he was then sure you take the mound when it’s your time. The FO made this his time…..coming off the All-star break meaning they could’ve constructed this rotation however they wanted.
Coors field screws with pitchers heads……therefore why screw around MORE than they already have this season with a guy is probably going to be a good starter.

Well, that’s it then. We only start McGreevy at home against teams like Rockies, White Sox, and Marlins.
McGreevy pitched in Colorado in 2024
2024
Rangers at home
Rockies on road
Giants on road
2025
Mets at home
Dodgers at home
White Sox on road
Cubs at home
Rockies on road
