Menes has no problem with the curveball, puts it in the zone with ease. The Fastball...that's a problem....93mph....no command of it from what I've seen in the 1st inning. When he lightens up on it, he can get it in the zone, but hittable. The 93mph FB will miss 2 feet high, 2 feet low, 2 feet inside.

His offspeed is in the zone. And the batters have to swing at them. Not everyone can hit those with authority....not in Low A. One batter got one his wheelhouse and took him deep on a inside curveball. So much for not giving up HR in his career.

Memes should have been out of that inning, third strike was called a ball, and, I guess they couldn't challenge it since they lost the challenge earlier.

they could challenge, but were gun shy after losing their 1st one with Rainiel's AB. That would've ended the inning, no HR.
