yeah yeah call me a long suffering mu fan used to disappointment and over hyped players who don't work out near as well as we hope.

It is great news don't get me wrong but I'm more concerned about the makeup and chemistry on this years team. Next year will take care of itself.

actually I am a very fun guy and an optimist. But it's a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time till he would be actually on campus and playing for MU and you have to admit stuff happens especially in today's crazy college sports environment. I simply gave how I felt about it. usually I would be hitting refresh to see what happened at his ceremony but I am sure many MU fans felt similarly.

Actually both this commit and kid who committed last week are incredibly talented and program changers. So I do allow myself a moment of excitement before telling myself slow your roll dude, remember the Porters saga?

Remember how excited we oldies were when Tony Van Zant committed? How did that work out.

WHEN both of these great players represent Tigers I will be over the moon.

Crowe coming early! To play in CoMo Dec 6. The Norm Stewart Classic. I think that game just may sell out.

Interesting comments, though not surprising, from a poster who has a thread on this forum front page about Drinkwitz missing on recruits this year.

When they sign elsewhere it’s a miss right away, when they sign with MU it’s let’s wait and see what said player actually does.

This is what brings out the trolls folks.

Now that’s cool. Really excited to see him in action.

Watching video, the thing I want to see the most is how athletic is he. From what I can tell, he’s not a superb athlete. He does most of his damage with superior skills. That said, his skills are superior. Beautiful shot (lefties always look better anyway) and he’s crafty with the ball in his hands. My only fear is, playing at the highest level of college basketball, will the speed of the game cause him problems. That’s true of every incoming player though. You never know until they’re out there.

If you want to see how athletic he is, then try watching with your eyes open.

You don't score over 3,300 points in three years of HS without being athletic.

In LA he has been described as "James Hardin with more athleticism."

Good point on his athleticism as his video are not showing the Bradley Beal or Jayson Tatum type, but rather more of a James Harden type who can shoot and be a floor general. Kid seems to have a ton of confidence and for a scorer, looks solid on D.

That’s a very good comparison at this point and if that’s what he’s like, we’ll be in great shape. Not everyone has to dunk from the free throw line to be a killer on the court.

Looking at various sites he is somewhere between the 2nd to 7th player in the country!
Who was the highest?
Michael Porter…….and his 2.5 games he played for the Black and Gold.
Not sure when national recruiting rankings began (#1, #2, #3, etc.) but Steve Stiponovich was a consensus All-American 5 star recruit coming out of DeSmet.

You can't not be an athlete and make some of the moves he makes. Your body just won't let you do those things if you're not an athlete.

And I know I used a double negative. I did it on purpose.
