For 81 games that would be a total of 2.38 million.

To draw 2 million for 81 games , a team needs 24,691 per game.

Bottom line, going into Sat. game , the Cardinals need to draw 614,945 for the remaining 34 home games.

So to finish the year with 2,000,000 (2 Million ) , the Cardinals must average 18,086 per game.
While some may say well they could drop 6 thousand plus per game to their current pace and still make it , the unknown factor is .. will the Cardinals have a shot at a wildcard playoff birth to keep attendance decent. Should they fall way back, the final 10 to 12 home games could be quite sparse when fans realize the team is out of it .

Conversely, having a shot to still make a wildcard plus the promotion of JJ Wetherholt could spur a few more walk-up sales as fans would be clinging to a hope of the final wildcard .
The Cardinals have 12 home games between Sept. 1st - Sept. 21st If Cardinals are out of it starting the final 6 game homestand, those last half dozen games could be very poor ! The 2 million total may come down to those games possibly if things head south .

Why is it shady to report tickets sold? That’s the product being created. It’s not the complete picture of the business model, but if that’s why we are measuring, gross stadium revenues should be only “fair” measure to report.
