If they got a bag of balls it would’ve been more useful than 2 mid 30’s BP starters……dump some of all of salary and pitch your young guys…..I’m sure they could throw a 5.00 ERA and growing. What was ever the point of keeping these 2 this season???? My guess is they were wide open to moving these guys but the offers made no sense?

In ST I had concerns with the rotation along with everyone else.
But truthfully I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Libby.
Figured he was a lock for the BP.
Matz was an option but has settled in nicely in the BP.
Only arm blocked who seems ready is McGreevy.
And he is probably in the rotation after the deadline.
Roby seems to be bouncing back nicely from an injury filled 2024.
Hence and Mathews might get a look in ST also.
Watch, wait, and see.

Fedde and Miles have no upside….what’s the point of them being on this team if the purpose was to play youth this season. ANY minor league arm could’ve performed as they have and most likely better.
