Burly is having a good season. If he improves on last season’s stat line he should be penciled in as a starting player in 2026.
He needs to prove he can be consistent though. He had a good day today, but to start a thread like this for a guy who is 8 for 45 over the last two weeks is a little odd.
Burleson's on pace to have similar, HR, RBI stats to last season

Like you said, "Burly is having a good season". Good observation.JohnnyMO wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 22:10 pm Burly is having a good season. If he improves on last season’s stat line he should be penciled in as a starting player in 2026.

Could Burleson's production/salary ratio be the highest value in the MLB, right now? Considering all the wasted salary/production contracts over the years for the Cardinals. Burleson appears to be a tremendous value. He's heading for a much higher, much deserved, payday.Shady wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 18:21 pm Only with a a higher batting average and a higher OPS. Also, considering his defensive progress. The 26 tear old is having a stellar season. He, currently, is a very good value for the St. Louis Cardinals. Just hope he doesn't have a slide in the second half like last season.

He’s not even the best value on the cards. He makes more than Winn and liberatore

That deranged thinking and persistent accusations may have gotten some others banned. Just sayin'. This is intended to be a baseball discussion board. You have too low of a baseball IQ and not qualified to start a baseball discussion. Sit on the bench with the rookies and learn from the pros.Shady wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 23:13 pmThat deranged thinking and persistent accusations may have gotten some others banned. Just sayin'.
