He would get more at bats with runners on getting 4 at bats than just 1. And it’s silly logic to bench good hitters because they would be better coming off the bench than sucky hitters. Hey let’s bench pujols because he would be a beast coming off the bench lol and no I’m not comparing the two but you don’t bench your good hitters just because they are good hitters that’s insane. I was being sarcastic to the suggestion that benching a superior hitter gives you a better bat off the bench. Pozo only gives us a bat off the bench because we are inserting an inept bat i to the lineup. Now i dont k ow if pozo could jeep up his hittjng playing every day, but if he could id take defensive tradeoff. At very least they should have been splitting starts long ago.
