I was surprised in the updated MLB prospect rankings that he (Ortiz) didn't even crack the Cardinals Top 30 prospects.
I find these ratings pretty lazy. Granted there are tons of minor league players to track I’d put kross rincon and probably some others over koperniak Saladin etc. it was “loosely” updated imo Ixan in bc a graduation and the top 7 reshuffled.

Maybe cardinals should just leave Walker with this next wave. He’s mostly the same age lol. Have all 5 of them move to Memphis together

Curialle is a menace at 3B and an even worse menace at 1B. 11 errors on the season in partime duty
he can't make that 3B throw

it was a needed signing...Memphis rotation was in shambles. Rom, Robberse, Bedell on the IL. Mathews had just returned from the IL and Graceffo/McGreevy were shuttling back and forth between AAA/MLB. He's not there to break into the big leagues, he's there to save the other pitchers around him, mainly the BP from ruining their arms.
It's a signing 29 other GM's will make time and time again when presented with this scenario.
I agree, Duce. This (plus salary) is the same reason Mikolas and Fedde are still on the MLB roster. Who is going to cover those innings if we pull those two out of the rotation.
