Why are they wasting a starter spot in Memphis on a 30 year old like Plesac? Because of Cerfolio's background with Cleveland?

And on another note, why did they bring up a DFA castoff signing like Hampson, when they could have thrown a carrot to one of their own like Antico or Church?

too many starting pitcher injuries in Memphis. They needed the innings covered. They don't care if Plesac works out or not. They're missing Bedell, Thompson, Rom, Robberse. And Graceffo was moved to the Bullpen....it's cluster frick of a rotation right now.

as for Hampson...he's RHB. The others are LHB. We have too many LHB.

I don't like the Hampson signing either....but that's their rationale....side of the plate
