Well i personally like Dobson and if we could also get Pagaeu that would be nice
maybe 19th, Jiricheck Bolduc, Stancl
And dump Faulk elsewhere.

Re: three trade props i am hearing
It looks like the Buffalo and Islanders deals are dead in the water concerning the Blues. But, it's interesting that people are floating Kyrou around so much. I have a feeling it's because people are bored on draft day and they are trying to turn up clicks to bring attention to the NHL. They have 4 days to make moves for Kyrou. Kyrou with his contract should be more valuable than we all thought the last 2 years when things were stirring up. If the rumors of the big numbers on July 1 are to be taken at any value, I am not trading Kyrou unless people are taking a cap dump with Leddy as part of it to make room for these bigger contracts these guys would command in extensions.

Dobson wants to stay in the East. Won’t sign an extension with a team in the West. So unfortunately, the Dobson door is now closed.Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 10:09 am Well i personally like Dobson and if we could also get Pagaeu that would be nice

What happened with the Sabres? And are you referring exclusively to Byram? If so, I'm more than fine with that being dead in the water.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 10:12 am It looks like the Buffalo and Islanders deals are dead in the water concerning the Blues. I wonder what his reasons are for staying in the East. Family-related or maybe it’s a travel thing. Teams in the West really seem to be at a disadvantage from that perspective, with West Coast and Western Canada trips. I’m sure someone has info on miles traveled per team……maybe I’m wrong. Oh well, turn the page.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 10:12 amDobson wants to stay in the East. Won’t sign an extension with a team in the West. Re: three trade props i am hearing
I can't find a link but it was reddit speculation late last night/early this morning that I think was reported that the Byram stuff was linked to the Blues with a possible multi player trade and draft pick with Peterka and Kyrou. So the reporting was Peterka was turned down for Kyrou strait up (which makes absolutely no sense because Kyrou is the better asset today with his contract) and then digging a little deeper it was because the Blues I think were floating Kyrou/1st and a defensive dump for Byram/Peterka. Again it was what I was reading, nothing factual and I can't find the link. It makes sense why Kyrou's name is still around all these trades because if that was real, it's the Blues driving that price up.zamadoo wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 10:15 amWhat happened with the Sabres? Kyrou is a bigger asset than we all give him credit for in 2025. In 23 he wasn't as valued.
Re: three trade props i am hearing
I suspect Army just makes some small moves to get draft picks back tonight/tomorrow. No need to make moves if they aren't there. Hopefully he's got something brewing for a C or RD that everyone is unaware of.
Re: three trade props i am hearing
technically we are the gate way to the west so we are on the east border close enough right
Re: three trade props i am hearing
I'd do Bowen Byram and Zachary Benson. love Benson's game and I'm looking for a breakout season from him.

Re: three trade props i am hearing
Lets say Columbus gets Dobson that would suggest it is less likely they resign Fabbro? Maybe the Blues just trade Leddy for a pick and use those dollars to sign Fabbro.
Cam/ CP55
Broberg/ Faulk
Tucker/ Fabbro
Kessel
Might not be horrible

Your take on Nemec is wrong. He's going to be a better player than Byram.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 09:00 am Kyrou for Nemec and Mercer is a terrible trade.
I like Byram a lot but I don’t trust the player at all. Kulich is a very good player but really zero interest in that trade.
I’m not giving up Kyrou for Dobson. I’ll take Dobson but not at that cost. I’ll take Danny Nelson all day long if the Islanders want to throw him in a deal for Dobson that doesn’t include Kyrou.
Re: three trade props i am hearing
I still don't get the love for Byrum. It just doesn't make sense from a Blues' need.
First off, he's a lefty. Secondly, he has a concussion history requiring lengthy recovery - which tells me he's literally one away from being done.
I'd rather have a righty with some wingspan.

Re: three trade props i am hearing
Byram just doesn't fill a need unless we're talking about playing him or Broberg on the right side. He needs a big new contract. Next year Broberg will need a new contract. You also have Lindstein maybe just a year out from the big club. Then there is Fowler and Tucker.
The need is on the right side, not just any defenseman available.

Maybe I misinterpreted by you saying Kyrou for Nemec and Mercer is a terrible tradePierre McGuire wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:13 amDid I have a take that said Byram is better than Nemec?noted wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:00 amYour take on Nemec is wrong. It is a terrible trade…doesn’t mean I think Byram is a better player than Nemec.noted wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:23 amMaybe I misinterpreted by you saying Kyrou for Nemec and Mercer is a terrible tradePierre McGuire wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:13 amDid I have a take that said Byram is better than Nemec?noted wrote: ↑27 Jun 2025 11:00 amYour take on Nemec is wrong.
