Yeah that Seamus Casey is someone I would have no interest in either.
what about nemec and mercer

Would that be worth it???
I don’t know enough to judge on nemec sorry but Mercer seems like a decent young guy in the age group we are said to be interested in.

Buch Thomas Snuggerud
Holloway Schenn Bolduc
Neighbours Mercer Texier
Walker Sunny Torop/Joseph

something like this is what the current roster would bestow. Maybe Stenberg emerges or maybe another deal is forthcoming for the RW but that roster is not a playoff contending offense for me. Unless Army hits on all the young forward production, meaning Bolduc, Snuggerud, Neighbours, Mercer are all 20-25 goal guys and Buch and Holloway are 30 or more
This is why any Kyrou deal is scary. We have a lot of good young wingers coming, but only Neighbours and Holloway have even hit the 100 game mark in the NHL. You're risking a lot on Bolduc, Snuggerud, Stenberg and the like coming through.
What does the mid-range veteran winger situation look like in free agency? 2-3 year contract types or even shorter.

Pretty big ??? around Nemec, could well be a bust (based on draft position).

Mercer is OK, he fits the bill of a 200ft player Army was talking about and is in the right age range but NJD defo need to add to get Kyrou.

Nemec, Mercer and a 1st for Kyrou and some minor pieces is a solid package, but unless Nemec players solid NHL minutes next year we arent improved so im kinda on the fence (not to mention that isnt even the rumoured package).

Army would have to turn around go sign someone who can score in my mind, ideally RW but not totally necessay

Boeser
Mantha
Armia
Nyquist
Kane
Ehlers LW
Kuzmenko RH
Marchand
Druin
Dadanov

Just some names for example, not great
