As a big advocate for trading Burleson last winter (before he might lose all of his value), his long term resurgance would be great news for the Cards after Walker's continued struggles. He's clearly a better option than Walker at the moment.

Very glad to see strong signs of life (and some power) after it disappeared for 45% of a season. If he can OPS over .800, he can be a decent corner OF and can also fill in for the possibly injury-prone Herrera at DH.

I'm not convinced yet since he's been hot for only 6 weeks now. He was hot the middle third of 2024 but followed that with a disaster in the last third.
