And I’ll be honest… I don’t love Kade Anderson. I feel badly that his coach goes against any responsible level of usage for a 20 year old for his own personal gain. I don’t think any major league hurler has touched 130 pitches in a game this season and he’s done it twice. He’s thrown 100 or more pitches I think 11 times this year.
Tarik Skubal has thrown 100 pitches once this season.
What did you think of Kade Anderson.

If Nats don’t take him first then can’t see Angels not taking him at two. They love players they can call up to majors right away.

I remember the day I told my coach that my elbow wasn’t feeling right as I warmed to start that day. He literally said, “it’s tennis elbow, totally natural. You can push through.”
In my Tommy John post op, the surgeon remarked that based on the scar tissue buildup and bone spurs, he thought I likely partially tore it 4-5 years prior. I knew the day, but at the time, I didn’t know any better to say anything.

Disagree.
But I saw three articles on LSU’s win today and all of them mentioned his pitch count so if he and his team were somehow all ignorant before then they aren’t any more.
And yet I’d still bet that LSU’s next ace will get the same treatment.

Some of the latest mocks have him going with the 2nd pick. A lot of that is reaction to his CWS performance.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 07:39 am Good morning.

If Anderson is there at pick 5, the Cardinals take him and run. Great pick. The only reason he falls is expressed elsewhere in the thread. Usage and injury risk. I can't see the Cardinals passing in him, though.
They have interesting choices if Anderson and Arnold are gone. Assume Holliday is gone too. The HS right handed, Hernandez may be there. A lot of folks here are in on the HS SS Willits as are some of the mocks at #5 pick.

You implied another poster was okay with abusing college arms. I pointed out what I believe is a more accurate interpretation of their comment, while answering the question you posed.
You then implied Kade Anderson doesn’t know about arm abuse because you didn’t at his age. So I highlighted a few possible differences between your situations.

I’d think it’s unlikely that he makes it to his first opportunity to get to free agency before the elbow breaks down again.
