No, no, nooooooo! Weatherholt is fine just where he is in the minors. Winn is the shortstop for the foreseeable future. There is nothing wrong with where things are at now. We need to see if Winn is an all star, right now he is still just average with potential. Cards just need to keep playing them both at their levels and let them fight it out to see who will emerge. I bring this up, because the Cards would have to probably do something risky or provocative to get the franchise out of Jeff Fisher territory.
What would Winn’s value be on the market? Could we get either a front of the rotation starter who is cost controlled? An OF power bat that is cost controlled?
