This is pretty common for this poster, though. They find an asinine rumor on Facebook, or an obviously sketchy link, or whatever, and they feel they need to post it here. Then they are quickly told that said rumor is, in fact, asinine.

Are people really unable to judge these things for themselves? Like if it were real, there'd probably already be a thread here, and an article in the post, and tons of tweets by actual reputable accounts, etc.

Cardinalsrumors.com or your aunt on Facebook are not the kinds of places that are going to be breaking huge news stories. Just doesn't work like that.
