That would be a nice trade for the redbirds. Gorman just strikes out way too much

When ppl used to complain about the Ozuna or Arozarena trade, I would say, “oh yeah, just wait until early June 2025 when we’re in 2nd place…”Futuregm2 wrote: ↑09 Jun 2025 16:30 pm Sandy Alcantara: 7.89 ERA -1.4 bWAR
Zac Gallen: 5.15 ERA 0.4 bWAR
Adolis Garcia: .623 OPS 0.8 bWAR
Randy Arozarena: .730 OPS 1.8 bWAR
Cardinals 36-29 and coming off 2/3 from the Dodgers
Mo moving Girsch from GM to voo doo fixer is working with almost 100% accuracy

Re: Would Marlins consider Gorman for Alcantara ?
So a handle created today shows up to parrot your views on two threads you started and disparages Contreras (who is blocking your dreamboat from 1B). Either it's a big coinkydink or you have a new sock. At least your new one isn't racist, kudos.
Re: Would Marlins consider Gorman for Alcantara ?
You are just too fricken' brilliant for your own good. LOL
Re: Would Marlins consider Gorman for Alcantara ?
If Alcantaras medicals checked out I would roll those dice.
Concerned Gorman's ceiling is Joey Gallo. And a suspect back to boot. What's Gallo doing? Pitching.
Yeah, I do that deal.

Whether it's velocity down or not throwing certain pitches that might hurt the arm he isn't the same. I'd like to have him just to see if he can regain some of his previous form.

Sandy's statcast page is interesting. Velo and spin rate are pretty much all the way back, as is his movement.ScotchMIrish wrote: ↑09 Jun 2025 20:49 pm Whether it's velocity down or not throwing certain pitches that might hurt the arm he isn't the same. The main difference appears to be his arm angle, which is 3-4 degrees lower than it was pre injury. Not sure if intentional to preserve arm health or accidental but it appears to be affecting his location, especially of his 4 seamer which now has less rise. Possibly affecting his command as well
