McGreevy About To Be Mike Mayered

I liked McGreevy’s start. He had one bad inning. I watched every pitch. Many were good pitches just hit by good hitters. Smith’s 3b was a bad pitch, but I think Scott would have caught it. Edmond’s 2b was a pool Q ball hit and Kim’s 3b was so far inside it almost hit him. After the bad inning stepped up and pitched well. Plus didn’t walk anyone. He needs to be in the rotation fairly soon.

Concerning yesterday’s discussion on official scorer discretion, it was shown again today. It was definitely a passed ball not a wild pitch.

I was impressed with how he battled after getting hit very hard the first two innings!

He was leaving everything up and had little movement…..obviously he was going to get hit hard.

not sure I understand this post...what exactly is the complaint..mcgreevy pitched 6 innings and gave up 4 runs...actually he pitched quite well after 1 bad inning?

Matheny ruined the kid. He never recovered.

I have no idea what the heck you are talking about. Mayers just wasnt that good. Besides he had some decent yeats of relief after the the bad starts. Maybe mayors had epically bad mlb starts cuz he wasnt an mlb starter.

Everyones been clamoring for mcgreevy and now you blame oli for starting him? And somehow compare this to mayors? And this wasnt even mcgreevys first career start
