Now, it ROKU, to go along with Apple, YouTube, and Ulube.
Heard rumor a new streaming platform may get a game later in September.
It's the sister of ROKU called HAIKU
On Haiku, the announcers must broadcast the game by speaking in 3 line phrases ..with total of 17 syllables
5 in first line said, then 7 second phrase, then 5 in last one.
Chip Caray starting to practice so he can audition to do the play-by-play
No problem with Roku but is anyone else missing portions of the game? When there is a pitching change I seem to get long commercial breaks until the next inning starts.

Yep. They're running ads for all their shows and coming back late. I went to from 4-1 Rangers to 6-1 before the game was back on. Eff you Roku!

Yes. It just came back on. It went off when Matz left game. I missed 3 batters.

Well, so much for me bragging on Roku. Like I needed more reasons to look like a horse’s (donkey).

Their breaks have been excessively long. I don't recall previous games being like this.

Makes absolutely no sense either as the ads are just ads for themselves so it is not like they are doing it for revenue.

I have the issue with audio and video not being in sync, but I have the same issue with the Fanduel Midwest stream on Directv .

If you think the picture quality is great I suspect you have not watched a high res satellite or cable feed lately or even a higher quality stream.
I thought it looked great and I was on the MLB app and it gave me the gane

Gig-speed Xfinity connection and a 4K TV. It looks great.
Imagine some idiot telling you that you're not seeing, what you're seeing.
Was at a Wal Mart once looking at TV's mounted on the back wall . My wife and I were comparing two different brands of 60 in. sets. We both were agreeing the Samsung had a better picture of the two . Another guy came along , looked at both of the sets we were eyeing. He said ' I sure think the LG has a better picture than the Samsung, don't you agree ? We looked at him replying 'Actually we thought the opposite !
Just goes to show that different people see things differently .

Has nothing to do with adapt. This was minor league. Can't get back from the breaks on time? Ridiculous. A disgrace. I've enjoyed the Apple broadcasts. This was not ready for prime time. A [fork]ing joke.

Yeah, definitely minor league today late in the game.
But it has a lot to do with adapt. EVERY time there’s an Apple game, or a Roku game, or whatever, it’s “I’m not signing up for a free account,” or “I don’t know how to do this and I don’t want to learn,” or some other kind of whining.
Do you want baseball to grow or not? If you want baseball to grow it has to appeal to younger people who stream content. The content providers give them a revenue stream they’re not getting from traditional cable.
You. And. I. Are. Not. The. Target. Market.
