Re: Five more shutout innings for Roby tonight
Great to see Roby performing coming off an injury shortened 2024.
His prospect rating dipped a bit after 2024 but if he keeps performing like this I would expect that rating to rise.
I would still be super cautious following only throwing 38 innings last season.

Re: Five more shutout innings for Roby tonight
I watched the stream and Roby was great. he was helped by Church and davis making great plays and one inning gave up two singles to start the frame.
I urge patience also; stamina and consistency need to be developed slowly while avoiding another injury set back.
Baez is an impressive athlete and he steals bases easily.
Baez was 20 for 22 in SB at Peoria before the two last night.
Has to keep the K rate down and build some hard contact, imo.

Roby needs to build stamina while staying healthy.
Baez needs to keep making contact.
Both could be impact players in a couple of years with a little luck. Fingers crossed.

I could be wrong but i thought it was comparing someone to a right handed Chris CarpenterMonsieur De Treville wrote: ↑29 May 2025 22:00 pmNo. Someone will remember the exact details...but it was something like Libby could be a left-handed Carlton. Keep it up and STAY HEALTHY!
Re: Five more shutout innings for Roby tonight
Liberatore. McGreevy, Mathews and Roby in a future rotation maybe.
Re: Five more shutout innings for Roby tonight
Liberatore, Pallante, McGeevy, Mathews and Roby in a future rotation. Could happen. Five very talented young pitchers in the organization.
Re: Five more shutout innings for Roby tonight
Anybody that feels projecting a future starting rotation with organizational pitchers isn't worth discussing. Ain't cutting it as a Cardinals fan. Carry on with your nonsense. That seems to be your specialty.

By the batter's reactions in the video. I'm guessing some of those strikeout fastballs were in the high 90s.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑29 May 2025 21:21 pmI am at the game. Radar guns in the park not ln tonight, but his stuff was electric. He was throwing HARD and his CB was FILTHY!!!!!
