Would anyone even know who this Hence guy is were his first name Bob? This stuff reminds me of when posters were adamant that we acquire OF'er Coco Crisp, just because they like saying "Coco Crisp", presumably after a childhood of daily bowls of Cocoa Krispies.

He’s not one of our best prospects because of his name.

Just cause you don't know anything about the prospects of the team that resides 2000 miles away from you, it doesn't mean nobody else does.

Why would posters be adamant that we acquire him Pink when he was drafted by the Cardinals in the 7th round of the 1999?

Yes because some people pay attention to prospects and read scouting reports on them

RHP Tink Hence final pitching line in his second rehab appearance yesterday with Palm Beach:

2.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 SO, 11 TBF, 42 pitches

Hope they start prepping him for a future at closer and Helsleys replacement sooner rather than later.

Kids got no future as a starter. But he could be an absolute nightmare in the 9th

You might be right about using Hence in the BP. It’s funny. Some guys thrive on four days rest. Other guys thrive pitching four days a week. We will just have to wait and see how Tink develops physically and how he responds to pitching in back to back days.

That's what I've thought for a while now too banner

Kids got an upper 90's fastball and a great change-up, I've said he could be like D. Williams as a closer.
