Exactly, the author's feathers were not ruffled. It's a pretty misleading click bait headline. The author explains that some fans might have their feathers ruffled over this but they shouldn't. Pretty much a nothingburger of an "article".

They were ruffled a bit when Moe decided to make him the future face of the franchise and bid against himself in doing so during extension negotiations.

Feathers were significantly ruffled as he began his Career Death Spiral while still having a couple of more seasons left on his contract. Plucked any remaining feathers out listening to CT Yahoo's hoping and praying the team picked up his option year.

I may be in the Minority, but I have Zero appreciation for his Card tenure or anything else about him.
