I think most of us on CT are very happy for JW. Keep up the great work and we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Some of the agitation and searching in the batter’s box from before has steadied or vanished. Walker brought a .194 average into Saturday’s start, but in the previous eight games — all of them coming after the work in Washington — he’s 7 for 21 (.333) with three extra-base hits. And he was back in the batting cage Saturday working on the hand position, facing sliders, making the adjustments habit.
“It’s been fun to watch him go about his business lately,” Liberatore said. “He’s doing all the right things behind the scenes, putting in the work, showing up early every day. You see him at the top step with (coach Jon Jay) moving the outfield around. He’s really transformed himself, and I think this is just the tip of the iceberg for him.'
The kid is putting in the hard work and showing up early every day . His teammates admire his work ethic and are seeing some of the results lately.
It takes a while to change the batting avg. on the scoreboard as it takes time after a horrible start. Imagine if a guy walked up to the plate and the scoreboard read .333 avg. (past 3 weeks ) lol . He may not keep hitting at a .333 clip but keep hitting whatever . His teammates seem excited. The fans are starting to also .

In the post , the 'entire article' was linked ..another player had quote regarding Walker so that is why 'teammates' was used. Possibly , you did not read the article to find out . No problem though ... you enjoyed your own laugh I guess.
