I’m not sure I agree with that. From that perspective you can always use BP help but from a talent perspective he would one of your best BP pitchers immediately.

Want to know why? Cause they left out the rest of what Fairbanks said… that they’d look in St Louis because that’s where he and his wife ultimately plan to end up / settle down with their family. Fairbanks went to high school there and went to Missouri.
It literally had NOTHING to do about being traded to the Cardinals.
