No way! How would we ever replace his .695 OPS? And his bloated salary? And his incredible leadership?
Nice try Cubbies. Arenado is a Cardinal for life!
Nice try Cubbies? More like nice try Cards. The Cubs are not remotely interested. They want to develop Matt Shaw.

Would the Cardinals really help the Cubs whom they are trying to catch in the division? Unless they are frustrated with Arenado's offense to the point of moving Donovan to 3B. Opening up 2B for some young possibilities.
No. Just no. You don't help the leading team in your division when you're the number 2 team. The optics alone would make a true Cardinal fan puke. You don't trade away one of your better players when you're a contender. This person must be a Cubs fan.

LoL...he's been sliding to awful for the past 30 games as a hitter.. His brief fart of success has been dispelled by his return to last year's mess and worse. He's a below average hitter again...those who don't see that need to have their eyes examined. He has a clutch hit last night that he mistakenly admired for apment before running, thinking it was gone.
Problem is, the only answers to replace him are???

I know it's not your idea, but this is not only a stupid idea, but it would never happen. Period. We're 3 games back. Why would we weaken our team while strengthening their team. Idiotic.

Yep.
1 game out of the wildcard

I wonder what it would take to get Colorado to part with Jordan Beck. Insert him in LF, put Noot in RF where he belongs, and your outfield is finally set.
Then you can send Walker to AAA to fix his bat.

That's quite the tangent!
He's a bad OFer but seems to have a bat.

Anyone who reads (and especially shares) sports-related links from MSN isn’t serious.
Ha, ha. Anyone who engages in Cards Talk with Shady has waaaaay too much time on their hands.
