Obviously , as we don't have a Mason Wynn on our roster.BrummerStealsHome wrote: ↑20 May 2025 15:35 pm I was gonna guess Mason Wynn
Obviously wrong, right?!

Here's the current bWAR for some of the position players:
Donovan +2.3
Noot +1.6
Scott +1.6
Winn +1.1
Herrera +1.1
Arenado +0.7
Contreras +0.5
Pages +0.4
Pozo +0.4
Burleson +0.3
Both Gorman and Walker have slightly negative current numbers. Donovan's has exploded lately with his 3 hit/game run. Winn had the slow start, and Herrera missed a lot of time, but they're trending well. Burleson's has gone from -0.3 to +0.3 very fast with his good hitting with power lately.
Before Donovan's eruption, all 3 of Noot, Scott and Donovan were tied about a week ago.
You can win a lot of games with this kind of production from your position players and decent pitching, which is what we've been witnessing lately.
Can it last? Pinching myself.

Color me shocked that Liberatore is performing well since they pulled their head out of their collective arses regarding how he’d be used.
Sure seemed like Mozeliak was leaning towards putting him in the bullpen this season and that Blake + Marmol made the case to put him in the rotation.

Yes, good to see. It was the right decision given the season and MLs maturity. An Old Friend wrote: ↑20 May 2025 16:58 pmColor me shocked that Liberatore is performing well since they pulled their head out of their collective arses regarding how he’d be used.

Nope. Hornsby. Musial is #1.

Liberatore is tied for 9th in MLB among pitchers at 1.7 fWAR with Garrett Crochet, just a tick behind Bubic, Wheeler, and Skenes who are all at 1.8
Not bad for a guy a bunch of people here pegged as a reliever.
