Praise where due for dropping Nado to 6th. I fully expected Oli to wait until at least June, so he has surpassed my expectations.
Who do you want to sit for gorman? Burly is finally starting to hit a little and already has been sitting more. Herrera being dh instead of catcher complicates things. It pushes burly out of dh which means that he gets his playing time in outfield when giving walker days off. In turn burly getting those starts in outfield.limits days donovan can be moved to outfield thus keeping donovan locked at 2b. If herrera could get back to catching that would open some at bats again.
I want Burly to sit for Gorman. They know who and what he is, and the plan was to give Gorman space to sink or swim. It was a good plan and they have not stuck with it.
You should be manager.

St. Louis Cardinals
@Cardinals
After 11 seasons in the Major Leagues including eight with the Cardinals, two-time Gold Glove winner Kolten Wong has officially announced his retirement.

Congratulations on a great career, Kolten!
He made some outstanding plays at 2nd winning that gold glove

Looks like pretty clear skies till after 10 but wow that's a lot of red headed this way.

Pretty clear downtown right now, little overcast. Pre-game operations progressing as normal.

Agree! We know what Burly is. 700-720 OPS and a 95-100 OPS+. He's a liability in RF and doesn't run well.

They need to send Gorman down if he’s not going to play I don’t know if he can get out of the funk but he definitely won’t get out of it rotting on the bench and not playing

They'll play him in hot weather when the fans need cooling off.

I didn't even realize the pitcher is LH... so why tf isn't Walker in? WTH is going on with the team's treatment of these kids?

Except Burleson has been getting big hits, lately. Including some home runs. Try to understand, Marmol really like Burleson against RHP.

Broken record, Frenchy. For some reason, you have a very short memory on Burleson's recent contributions.

Tough team to face. These hitters are beasts. What a lineup.

I hope the Cards' rotation is up to the task.

I want 2 of 3 wins....do we play 3 or 4 ?

Go CARDS!!!!
