I supported replacing Goldschmidt with Contreras at 1B - in fact, I predicted it the day Willson was signed.
I supported keeping Gray, and Fedde, and Helsey (called for an extension for the latter) - and correctly said Fedde should only be traded at the summer deadline if the team was out of divisional contention.
As for N/A - he refused to report to Houston and there was nothing the team could do at that point.
I supported leaning into Winn, and Donovan, and Scott, and Pages as starters.
Said it was the correct decision to give Walker and Gorman the full 2025 season for further evaluation - and though the team reneged on its commitment in that regard, it remains the right thing to so.
I believe we agreed on these points far more than we disagreed.
Aside from 2 sentence "Moe sucks" posts, Blojo's got nothing. Goldy, Arenado and Gray, yes that would equal a tear down. Plus playing Siani in CF. Thankfully, most of the decisions were taken out of their hands. Yeah, I mean you don't blow up a team that close to being a playoff contender. It seems their agenda may have change since the team has gone on this streak. The St. Louis Cardinals should never be equated w/the Pirates etal who selloff talent because they don't have the revenues to pay them.
Truthfully the return for Helsley or Fedde or whoever might never amount to anything, it's s total c r a p shoot since they're not bring back Top 5 talent.
BDWJr has enjoyed DECADES of 3+M attendance and can afford almost any player in MLB if he wanted to.
Honestly CC if Dewitt wanted to get back on that 3M pace, then he'd ok Mo/Bloom to ADD a piece or two in June/July if they're still in contention.
