Fans in other cities get to see Musial every game.

Where is our Musial?

Why buy a ticket in St Louis? Is the big draw to win 5% more more than last year? That’s all?

I recommend that you figure out how to get a Musial on your team. That is what your fans deserve.
For homework, why don’t you tell us the Musial on each team?

Anyone being truthful knows that St Louis is lacking in HOF/elite/franchise talent.

Here is the MVPs of the playoffs: Notice any HOFers?

2023: Jonathan Marchessault, Vegas Golden Knights
2022: Cale Makar, Colorado Avalanche
2021: Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning l
2020: Victor Hedman, Tampa Bay Lightning
2019: Ryan O'Reilly, St. Louis Blues
2018: Alex Ovechkin, Washington Capitals
2017: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
2016: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
2015: Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks
2014: Justin Williams, Los Angeles Kings
2013: Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks
2012: Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings
2011: Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins
2010: Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks
2009: Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins
2008: Henrik Zetterberg, Detroit Red Wings
2007: Scott Niedermayer, Anaheim Ducks
2006: Cam Ward, Carolina Hurricanes
2004: Brad Richards, Tampa Bay Lightning
2003: Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim*
2002: Nicklas Lidstrom, Detroit Red Wings
2001: Patrick Roy, Colorado Avalanche
2000: Scott Stevens, New Jersey Devils
1999: Joe Nieuwendyk, Dallas Stars
Impressive but it has zip to do with the topic at hand. Stay focused

Two takeaways:

Stillman said there is a little concern with the cap going up as a mid market team.

When asked if Steen was always the pick to succeed Army, Stillman said there was some internal considerations. He didn't name names. Wonder if it was Ryan Miller or Peter Chirelli? Scott Mellanby?

Ryan Miller is who I thought of as that’s who I thought of when it was first announced Steen would be the next GM as Ryan’s relatively young (I’d guess around the same age as Stten, maybe a few years older) so he’d be the one guy I figured was disappointed by the Steen hire as that’d pretty much close the door on him being GM here. So hopefully we don’t lose him. He seem like a good soldier and I think handles a lot is the contracts and cap stuff.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Miller. I can see him being a candidate elsewhere.

he's already admitted he cannot afford to pay at the new cap for several years.

he's probably one of the poorest owner in nhl, and he got very little for his distributorship he had.

team needs another invested, billionaire owner, who will put his money into the club to win.

Where has he said this?

A quick google search found this:
Majority Owner
edit
Thomas H. Stillman - Chairman of the Board & CEO, Summit Distributing.
Minority Owners
edit
James A. Cooper - CEO, Thompson Street Capital Partners.
Christopher B. Danforth - Owner and President, Kennelwood Pet Resorts.
John C. Danforth - Shareholder, Bryan Cave, LLP. Danforth was former senator of the state of Missouri & US UN ambassador.
James L. Johnson - Senior Vice President, Stifel Nicolaus & Co.
James P. Kavanaugh - CEO, World Wide Technology, Inc.
Jerald L. Kent - Chairman and CEO, TierPoint, LLC & CEO, Cequel III.
Donn S. Lux - Chairman of the Board & CEO, Luxco.
W. Stephen Maritz - Chairman of the Board, Maritz Inc.
Scott B. McCuaig - Former President, Stifel Nicolaus & Co.
Edward M. Potter - Private Investor.
John S. Ross, Jr. - President, Summit Development Group.
Thomas F. Schlafly - Co-owner, Thompson Coburn & Founder, The Saint Louis Brewery.
Michael W. Riney - Founder and managing director of QRM Capital[4]
Andrew C. Taylor - Chairman of the Board & CEO, Enterprise Holdings, Inc.
Jo-Ann Taylor Kindle - President, Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
From my understanding, the group is not hurting for money at all. That said, it is a worthwhile question on if the Blues can continue to afford to spend to the cap. The cap goes up when league revenue goes up. So the question is, is the Blues’ revenue increasing at the same pace as the league average? I’d guess it is but who knows.

Yeah Stillman is not an individually monstrously rich owner the way some are, but the larger ownership group of the Blues is collectively loaded.

he told the guys on 101.1 this last week about not being able to stay at the newer cap

those people on that list backed his bid, they do not write the checks, because he is a poor nhl owner, he had to get the taylors and others to back his bid, so he could get the loan. this has been the case, since he bought it.

claiming those people pay bills, write checks and are more than in the back, owners, who put their money down in a lie. they backed his bid, got a small piece of the team, they do not write checks.

And stillman is one of the poorest owners in any sport, MLS included.
