Good test against Phillies and KC coming up
^^^THIS^^^
Cardinals (.261 .338 .403 .741 vs Phils .257 .336 .403 .739) are an even match offensively w/the Phillies (Cards 194 runs v Phils 191 runs) and pitching too (Cards 3.85 ERA v Phils 3.76 ERA)
Just stay away from the red hot TGKS!
KC is hot but they just lost B-B games so maybe they're cooling down at the right time!
Good morning, fellas.
I'll say one thing, it DOES appear to have a different vibe during this 8 game win streak. And, it's been a lot more fun taking in the games. I can't say in person, but as for on radio or TV, I can attest. Cardinal baseball fans are the best in the world. Just ask one of us. And I've said for years that you guys are some of the best baseball men (or women) out there.
So do you think Arenado is right? Are we competitive, or is this just fools gold? I'm going to go out on a limb and say...............................
Maybe. I don't want to jinx it.

Nolan Arenado's comments what's different now that the Cardinals have this 8-game winning streak.
“We’re excited to come to the ballpark,” Arenado said. “I think that’s the first time in a couple of years, it feels like. We’re coming to the ballpark ready to win a ballgame instead of coming to the ballpark hoping for something good to happen. It’s a different vibe for sure coming to the ballpark. It seems like the energy is different right now.”
Based on his huge oversized salary it’s nice to see he is coming now ready to play. I’ll be so glad when he is gone.

A couple of years ago? I guess oli hasn’t been good at instilling a winning culture in the team since Molina and Albert retired

So the leaderless pansy admits he’s been sulky around for a couple of years when the team needed him and Goldy…….Do they realized they were and are being paid to lead in production and attitude so that the ship stayed afloat…..
Count on Goldfan to find something negative to say - about anything. Even with a recharged NA and an 8 game winning streak.
Well wheres he been Cranny…..the guy makes 35mil/yr, talked about as a HOFer and he’s counting on minimum wage rooks to lead the team and create the proper “vibe”

We could also acknowledge that we are in control
of our vibe/attitude. Does NA see his own role in that vibe.

One, worth noting that his comment goes directly to what I have been explaining for the past several years.
The entire organization was infected with a TOXIC CULTURE.
And that needed to change.
Glad he finally understands that which I explained to all long ago.
Two, N/A is also validating another accurate analysis on my part (and made by others as well).
He is a follower, not a leader.
He did not create energy.
He is riding it.

Amen
He is waiting for a downturn.
Goldfan's comment could be taken as a singular criticism of
the single player who made the comment.
I've always thought of myself as being the person most in control
of my attitude and how I see the "vibe" and my ownership in it. NA, IMO, should
see his part in this new perception.

I’m really glad ole NA got recharged and is hittn the ball a little…….35mil don’t get ya what it used to…..against the Pirates and Nats……
Let’s not talk about the last couple years while he was leading this team into a ditch……that might hurt some feelings

Agree with that.
Maybe he learned a little about his involvement in it.
After all your stated profession counts on this as a possibility, correct?
