So, am I to be elated when comparing this team to the low bars of the previous two years? I dunno. Seems to be a bridge too far. Should I be excited about the progression of this multi-year rebuild. Well, I guess that's something I could try if it would make you feel better.

So, when do you expect them to field a team that will be in a position to play for the NL pennant? I think that is a 2028 timetable at best. What do you say???

Honestly, I think they may do it in 2027 and make the playoffs next season. Depends on the pitching. McG and LIbby look like a good base for a rotation of younger pitchers. Pallante... hard to say. They may grow some bats... not looking too bad at this point. They need a better manager and Bloom needs some funds and a chance to operate. There are some good pieces.
