He isn’t.
Why don't you give some solid baseball opinions on the OP? Instead of trying to impress the other SAs.

You have been participating in the GDT. That’s great. You’ve been less thread heavy that too is good. You are a strong contributor with a mass of knowledge.Shady wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:34 amAt least you gave some reasoning. Many here are more into SA remarks. I salute you.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:28 amYes sir they would, and 29 other teams with better high end prospects. That’s the first thing.Shady wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:24 am So the best young starting pitcher in MLB, who happens to be established, wouldn't interest the Cardinals for a couple of "high ceiling" projects. Skenes would sure come in handy in a short series playoffs situation. As it stands, right now, are Walker and Gorman irreplaceable?
Second he’s a league level Ace. Two fledgling players won’t even touch that deal.
And Saggese, possibly.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:50 amYou have been participating in the GDT. That’s great. You’ve been less thread heavy that too is good. To your point. Remove Walker and Gorman, start with McGreevy graceffo and Pallante and at least they don’t hang up.
My opinion is that senior citizen centers could offer you a world of fun. I'm jealous that I'm unable to take an afternoon for a few leisurely games of shuffleboard. You could play backgammon, watch a Cardinal game with some the other fellas, even dance with Dorothy and Mildred to Lawrence Welk reruns. The last one wouldn't be my thing but you catch my drift.
That convo would most likely begin with Wetherholt, Saggessee, and a Libby or a GG.. Walker might be a throw in.... Doesn't matter though, Skenes isn't going anywhere any time soon. They don't have to pay him yet. That's when the Dodgers and the Yanks will be calling...sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:50 amYou have been participating in the GDT. That’s great. jokers joke
Yes sir the time line doesn’t support it. Couple more years, who knows what he is worth.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:59 amThat convo would most likely begin with Wetherholt, Saggessee, and a Libby or a GG.. No, he's just an idiot who craves attention.
Would Babe Ruth have sex with Hank Aaron if both were in a North Korean prisoner camp?Shady wrote: ↑07 May 2025 10:24 am So the best young (age 22) starting pitcher in MLB, who happens to be established, wouldn't interest the Cardinals for a couple of "high ceiling" projects. What too many can't decipher is, I just threw this out there for discussion. OI didn't propose the trade. There's a difference.
