‘Pulling a guy out of the bleachers’ is not the terminology especially considering what happened In Pittsburgh.

and i kind of get that this year... but why not find out if koperniak can hit in the bigs....he has hit everywhere else he has played - and his glove plays.

Well, more likely very soon Burly gets going much better, or at least just enough for Oli to remain enamored over his highly over rated bat. Hope that happens today. Would be nice to think the Cards see what he really is, and a bit of a hot streak by AB might increase his value some before the deadline.

He needs to go to AAA because there's something he can actually work on there that he can't here: find your power stroke. Guys who slam as many hot dogs as they do singles are no use to big league teams. He has no speed, no great D, and as of his last what is it now--400ABs!?!?--he has 0.0000 power.

JWalk at least plays better D by the day, is still only 22, and hits the cover off the ball. May still be hope for him yet. Burly? No power=no bueno.

Get used to that hot dog cart, cause that's gonna be your future at this rate.

Koperniak is really struggling in AAA. Hitting .195 and has been benched the last few games.

Might be on his way to AA more than the bigs
