I still think he will play as a winger next year. A center will come in from outside the present roster imo.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025 15:04 pmHe did not look close to ready in his very brief stint in the NHL there is ZERO chance the Blues play him in this post season. Hes not close I am not of the mind that hes on the '25-'26 opening night roster either. I think Army goes outside the organization to supplement the center depth probably not in a major way but a legit 3C, I can see DD again recalled next season that seems certain.seattleblue wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025 14:59 pm It's not a problem to not bring him up, but I don't agree with the claim that he is not close to the universe of being ready. That's over the top hyperbole IMO, He had two primary helpers on the 3 total goals his team scored and did not look overmatched by the pace of playoff play this past weekend. He skated well. Strong likelihood he'll be on the team next year and then play in the playoffs next year assuming he's healthy.
The AHL playoffs are obviously a notch above the AHL regular season but this isnt comparable to the level of play in this series so...
Just how they fit him in is secondary and part of the summer strategy but I expect him to be on the team if not from camp then shortly thereafter but the plan will be for him to be a Blue next year.
