Amongst our latin arms, Sequera seems like he's got enough size to stick as a starter, as opposed to maybe Saladin, Salas and Rincon. He's also still very young for his league. Anyone with any thoughts on his possible future?

Mayo sat on a slider low in the zone, crushed it to straight away CF, off the wall, Siani crashed into the wall trying to catch it. Good pitch, a Power Hitter was looking for it. Can't help that. Mayo Triple.

Siani hurts shoulder on the play. Still on the ground...for about 2 minutes, gets up, stays in the game.

Sequera's? He would need to graduate Peoria before I'm hopeful. Peoria seems to be where Latin Pitchers go to die: Paniaqua, Dionys Rodriguez, Wilfredo Pereira (finally got to Springfield, but is gone from system now), Nathanael Heredia, Leonardo Taveras, Salas, Saladin, Davila, and Rincon.

He's the best pitcher in Palm Beach...he's #1 in the rotation. But I'm holding my thoughts for now.

I was thinking about him the other day, and wondered if he was a good student in HS, b/c he's going to need to get into college next season.

If he's still with the Cards next year, I'd be shocked. I think he's at his peak. The contact isn't there enough.
