Thanks, Crav !
Noot is 1 for 17 in last 5 games.
Looks like Oli wants to keep the hot hand at leadoff. 😀
Noot had .145 avg. in last 15 games.

I hear rumors.. ill.
He is ‘sick’ and tired of bullpen blowing possible wins.

The walks have started to dry up since pitchers have discovered he's not that much of a batting threat.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting ..... what the hel* I'll just save the internet ink.

Pallante has to be asking = what the hel* did I do to deserve this batting order?
Scott Blewett will be starting his first ever MLB game, and his first appearance with Atlanta. He has pitched in relief with KC, MIN, and BAL, with a lifetime ERA of 1.93 in 21 games, 37.1 IP. He is a big dude: 6'6" 245 - 29 years old.

Strider was supposed to start tonight but he is back on the IL with hamstring injury.

Is this a bullpen game?

I think WilyCon coming out of it. 5 hits in the last 3 games including a home run. However, Golden Corral is only slugging .190 in his last 7 games and .239 in his last 15 games. But...gotta leave him in that key RBI slot!

The Cards are on a 5 game losing streak and the goof Marmol sits Donny! They need to try Saggese in the OF could use his bat in the lineup!

injured....rib issue from the sound of it. It's the reason that Saggese stayed and Siani was sent down.

#STLCards manager Oli Marmol said Brendan Donovan was scratched from tonight’s lineup because a rib head popped out of place this morning. Soreness will make Donovan unavailable tonight and his availability is in question for Wednesday. An IL stint is unlikely, Marmol said.

A "rib head?"
Two questions: what is it and how does one pop out?

As Harry Carray eloquently said about the Cubbies, "I don't know how we lose some of these games, but we do."
Applies totally to the DeWallets.

the posterior end that articulates with the vertebrae. Specifically, it connects to the bodies of two adjacent thoracic vertebrae, with one facet on the superior vertebra and another on the inferior vertebra. This connection forms the costovertebral joint. ----

we learned something new today..... as for how does one pop out?

another Copy/ Paste for you:

Trauma:
A direct blow to the chest, a fall, or even a severe sneeze or cough can cause a rib to dislocate.
Overuse:
Repetitive movements, especially those involving arm extension and rotation, can strain the joints and ligaments, potentially leading to rib displacement.
Weak or Hyperextensible Cartilage:
In slipping rib syndrome, the cartilage between the ribs becomes weak, making them more prone to slipping or subluxation.
Muscle Imbalances:
Uneven muscle strength or imbalances in the chest and back can pull on the ribs, potentially causing them to shift out of position.
Congenital Factors:
In some cases, individuals may have a congenital weakness in the rib cage structure, making them more susceptible to rib subluxation.
Postural Issues:
Poor posture can put strain on the ribcage, increasing the risk of rib misalignment.
Other Medical Conditions:
Conditions like bronchitis, asthma, or a persistent cough can put stress on the ribcage, potentially causing a rib to dislocate.

Is this a bullpen game?
I believe it is. Blewett is scheduled to be followed by Nathan Wiles, making his MLB debut. Or maybe Wiles gets the start.
