Have no idea why these top pitching prospects and their parents don’t insist on pitch counts while in college. Almost criminal how these coaches use them.

Mathews is set to join Memphis today in Norfolk, and will begin a Throwing Program either tonight or tomorrow.

He may have inadvertently pushed himself in camp trying to impress perhaps eventually causing hopefully just some minor glitch.
What was his velocity in ST starts?
