Gorman to third and JJ to second. Saggese eventually fills the Hurdy Gurdy role.

I’d be shocked if Winn is traded.craviduce wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 10:00 am I respect all the opinions. That being said, I want to hopefully help erase some if not all of the myths going on here.
First, Saggese's arm isn't made for the left side of the infield. The loopty-loop throw is extremely weak/slow. That should eliminate him from 3B, but if you're not convinced, his footwork is atrocious. Maybe hard work in the offseason would make the foot work average, but his arm will never improve.
Second. Wetherholt as a "middle of the order bat". He has line drive power, not HR power. Maybe the in game power over the wall will come? I'm not convinced on that....at max he could be Tre Turner ~ one could dream.
Third. "Screwing over Wetherholt by playing him at SS in the minors" He can play anywhere on the diamond and play it well. Please, backseat another player and his Future Defensive failures brought upon by the Front Office.... Wetherholt will be fine. They sometimes make athletes like this, he can and has done it. 2B and 3B aren't foreign to him.
-------
I challenge you all to think outside the box...there's a possibility that Gorman or Winn or Saggese won't be here next season. It blows our minds, yes, but It's Chaim's show and rebuild come 2026.
It happens....be prepared for anything
What about SS, he looks more than capable of playing SS. He has excellent body control and makes elite throws, he slings like a pro. Maysn has to stop and plant and leverage the big arm. IMO Saggese fielding strictly looks much better SSS.craviduce wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 10:00 am I respect all the opinions. he plays SS pretty well. I wouldn't be completely surprised if he sticks there. He's leaps and bounds better than Saggese at SS, but that's easy to do.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 11:15 amWhat about SS, he looks more than capable of playing SS. You ain't "breaking my heart" lol I'm disappointed in Burleson's current power production. But he has company in that concern.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 11:46 amFirst, thx duce for your educated responsecraviduce wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 10:00 am I respect all the opinions. Second, I agree w/you 100% that one of those three could (will) be gone this coming offseason.
And I'll break shady's heart by saying I could also see Bumble's, as a throw in, if Bloom makes a BIG deal.
BIG changes are coming, including bye-bye to Oli (sorry scouty).

A couple other 23 year-olds are showing some nice potential at AA, Roby and Davis.Shady wrote: ↑13 Apr 2025 12:00 pm It is good to see Wetherholt having some success hitting at AA. Keep in mind Wetherholt's current BA is .286 at AA. Another 23 year old infielder, Saggese, currently has a .471 BA at the MLB level. It is nice that both of these fine young hitters are now doing well.
