Good. And if Brant isn’t working for Wilson then why don’t we just go get him his personal hitting coach?

It doesn’t have to be one of the other. Seems like the whole reason we cut player payroll was so we could hire more instruction. In the multitude of counselors there is wisdom.
How many instructiors does Goldy, Lynn and Gibson contracts buy?
Most of that money likely went into the DeWitt saddle bags.
That's very dubious, MMBT.

On a different subject, let's now get a new pitching coach. Blake didn't have the coaching experience for the major league position.
No doubt about it. Only player they added was Maton, and he likely got half of what Lynn or Gibson made. But they do need a pitching coach.
I seriously don’t understand why people think there are excess profits that go into the Cardinals, LLC
investors pockets when cable and ticket revenues are down. Do those people have access to the Cardinals, LLC financial statements?
Do you?
No, but you made the claim.
Nope, you are the expert on the old man's finances. I'll stick with them pocketing the dough.

Sorry, not arguing with a fence post and losing. Just getting tired of all the DeWitt bashing after he's been a very good owner for a long time. And a poster bashing by making false claims that are unsubstantiated.

The Cardinals are in a very difficult position. The spending on free agents has gone out of control. No small to middle market team can compete. So the Cardinals had to change their plan after the Ozuna, Goldy, and Arendo moves didn't work and shift their spending to the entire development system. Was it overdue? You bet it was, but at least now they're on the right track. They're tied for #3 in MLB in runs scored and all the position players are under control for multiple years. Now serious attention has to be paid to the pitching. Although a no hitter through 6 innings today by the starter was kind of impressive.

Serious Attention to be paid to pitching…….
How serious are you starting Miles when a Young arm like MCGreevy who only went deep into games with few runs in his only MLB starts last year……is toiling in Memphis. This isn’t a serious organization…..THEY stated they’re playing youth and then move forward like this. THIS ORG IS IN LOSER MODE.
PERIOD. Miles should be released. He’s provides no upside on the mound or in trade. The money is gone. Move on

blah, blah blah.

Anything said to the media is framed. No active player is going to tell you the truth. Individualized plans work if they are good. Cardinals have cooled. Long season has started.
